Supervizion’s legacy stems from being active in the arts, primarily the music industry. The core team’s early experience includes activities such as music concert tour booking, concert promotion, music studio operation, and DJ bookings and promotion. In parallel, the business side of those activities were also managed. In the 1980s, it was primarily one of the founders who was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting, to later move on to get a law degree specializing on intellectual property rights.
As our experience with the business in and around entertainment grew, we were increasingly approached by talents seeking business advice. This was often triggered by an event in their career. It might be a music artist suddenly starting to sell lots of vinyl records or a fashion model getting a major international contract. Taking care of the business aspects of talented individuals’ work grew organically as a service by requests from the talents themselves.
The first talent-based business enjoying our management services on a continuous basis begun a professional relationship with us in 1991. This is an important milestone that form our history, although the content of our management service had already been provided to talented individuals and their business even before that time. A year later, in 1992, we provided business insights to a client in a project based on our advisory competence, our first management consulting assignment.
Relying on sound facts and logic has become fundamental, partly due to the extensive formal education of our team. The ties to education and science also include being instructor of MBA courses at business schools and doing research. Our appreciation for science and business research helps us to provide more value to our clients today.
These three parts (arts, business and science) form the foundation of our business. They are sources of competence that we use synergistically in business management, management advisory services, and creative services.
Arts, Business and Science


From its homonym that it is named after, Supervizion connotates the meaning of having an overview of things. Holistic thinking around a theme is a hallmark of our way of doing business. Providing direction is another. A prerequisite for doing so is expertise, knowledge accumulation is thus fundamental to Supervizion. In this way, our brand name Supervizion captures much of the essence of us and what we do.
The brand’s domain name supervizion.com was registered in 2000 and it is our group’s main online presence. SUPERVIZION is a registered trademark. Our group also have other brands used in our business. One example is SUPERVIZION MANAGEMENT, a registered trademark.
There are different separate entities that do business using the SUPERVIZION brand. Over the years, several have been folded into our umbrella. Their independence means that they themselves are responsible for the contracts and agreements they make.
